Halfway to Spring Break
In World Geography, we are finishing our study on Africa. We have explored the four main regions which are made up of SEVERAL diverse countries: Northern, West & Central, East, and Southern. If nothing else, the students should have learned that Africa is NOT a country… IT IS A CONTINENT! Depending on which country in Africa one visits, he or she will encounter black Africans, white Africans, Africans that look Asian, and Africans that look Arab. The students will complete a culminating project in which they will conduct research on the natural environments of a particular country and subsequently create a visual.
On this site you will find the Third Nine Weeks Syllabus with daily plans, vocabulary, and other pertinent information for the World Geography and AP Human Geography classes. We will continue to work hard to increase our brain capacity with new information and to develop personal responsibility. For any questions or concerns, please email me at tcollins@scsk12.org. Please be sure to check this site for updates along with PowerSchool to keep record of your grades. It is only YOUR responsibility to BE IN CHARGE OF YOU!!!!!
SUCCESS = RESPECT, EFFORT, RESPONSIBILITY
